First night of AWANA at church today, for both the girls and I. The girls were off to Cubbies and Cassidy wanted to do everything by herself... while holding tightly to Ella's hand most of opening ceremony. I on the other hand, may have been just as scared as little Cassidy... for a few reasons 1) I'm helping with 3rd thru 6th grade boys 2) I'm not sure that it will be safe to consume to amount of "red bull" required for me to keep up! 3) Soon I will have 2 boys of my own and this insanity that is called TNT boys will be my home on a daily basis.
The first night seemed to go quite well... the girls came home happy. I too came home happy... in one piece and actually had a lot of fun. We played games and worked in groups for a while, I'm looking forward to helping this year!
moving on...

You've been baptized into "boyland"! It's a fun place to be...if you can stand the energy and noise!! You might be like Carl who can usually tune out the noise. I on the other hand have difficulty being able to even think with the amount of noise that comes with a 7 and 2 year old boys...then throw a 4 year old girl in the middle and it's complete chaos!!! Glad you enjoyed your first night of AWANA.....are ya going back for more next week? =)
